Recently, the 2019 Liaoning Provincial Undergraduate College Students Computer Design 188bet, co-organized by the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Finance, came to an end at Shenyang Normal University. Our school has won 56 provincial awards, including 5 first prizes, 22 second prizes and 29 third prizes. The total number of awards is ranked among the top ten among the 51 universities participating in the province. At the same time, our school has also won the Outstanding Organization Unit Award.
A total of 1,499 works from universities in the province were shortlisted for the provincial 188bet, and a total of 744 works were shortlisted for the on-site finals after expert online review. Our school has 26 works shortlisted and won awards, ranking and number of awards at the forefront of universities in the province. Five first prizes including "Energy-saving residential using renewable energy" were recommended to participate in the National College Student Computer Design 188bet.
This school selection 188bet is sponsored by the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center and hosted by the Department of Information and Control Engineering. In order to prepare for this 188bet, relevant departments began to prepare and collect works from the end of 2018, and carefully organized the screening of works and conducted centralized training and guidance before the 188bet. All instructors carefully analyzed the 188bet requirements, carefully designed the training plan, and teachers and students actively prepared for the battle. After repeated modifications and improvements, they met the requirements of excellent works. Through simulation defense, students' adaptability and expression skills were improved, laying a solid foundation for the excellent results in participating in the provincial 188bet.
After participating in this school-level 188bet and provincial 188bet, the participating students have made great progress in computer knowledge, computer application ability, teamwork spirit and innovation ability, and their comprehensive quality has been trained and improved.
