On June 9, the winners of the 11th National Youth Popular Science Innovation Experiment and Works Competition (Liaoning Division) University Group sponsored by the Liaoning Association of Science and Technology and the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education and hosted by the Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Museum was officially announced. This competition has 2,630 teams from 14 cities across the province applied for. Our teachers and students performed outstandingly in the competition, winning 89 awards in total, including 17 first prizes, 33 second prizes and 39 third prizes. The total number of awards ranked fourth among the 69 schools participating in the province.
This competition is themed "Smart, Safety, and Environmental Protection", focusing on cutting-edge science and technology, public safety and health, and comprehensively examines the ability of young students to discover, solve problems and practice hands-on through two major sections: creative works and popular science experiments.
