In order to further improve the English expression ability and language application practice ability of our school students, promote the practical teaching of college English in our school, and promote English teachers to continuously update their educational ideas and concepts, our school held the 2017 "Foreign Research Society Cup" English Speech, Reading and Writing Competition Shenyang Science and Technology College on-campus selection competition in September and October. The "Foreign Research Society Cup" National College Students' English Series Competition is the highest-level and most authoritative national English competition in my country. Through the selection of foreign language teaching research associations of universities and provincial universities, thousands of college students are attracted to actively participate every year, creating a platform for college students across the country to inspire foreign language learning, demonstrate comprehensive abilities, and cultivate outstanding talents. This year's "Foreign Research Society Cup" English Series Competition Shenyang Science and Technology College On-campus Selection Competition is sponsored by the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center and hosted by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Department of the Basics Department. Continuing the previous years, the competition will be recruited publicly for students across the school, and two stages will be set up for class selection and in-school selection.

It attracted 71 contestants from the fourth grade of our school to participate.
