In March, all faculty and staff were invited and organized to study the theme report of Professor Liu Zhijun of Dalian University of Technology, "Strengthening leadership, full-staff action, and doing a good job in self-evaluation and self-construction of undergraduate 18bet review assessment, and the theme report of Professor Yu Guojiang of Hefei University "Reviewing the three key indicators of qualified assessment and evaluation requirements from the supervision" and the theme report of Professor Yu Guojiang of Hefei University.
Principal Chen Baodong put forward several requirements during semester cadre training: 1. Do a good job in the "Fourteen" key tasks of this year's qualification assessment; 2. The first draft of the self-evaluation report was formed at the end of April; 3. The 18bet review department must strictly follow the requirements of the qualification assessment indicators and organize the ongoing curriculum and classroom 18bet review, especially all links of experimental training and practical graduation thesis (design) and other tasks must comply with the school's regulations and specifications. The school evaluation working group held an enlarged meeting to study and deploy the task division of labor and the convergence and generation of supporting materials for writing self-evaluation reports based on 40 observation points.
The 18bet review department (department) held meetings one after another to learn and understand the essence of expert reports, divide the work of the school evaluation and construction work, and discuss how to do a good job in the qualification assessment of departments and teachers themselves. The Department of Chemical Engineering held a "Symposium on how to do a good job in self-evaluation and self-construction and cultivate applied talents". At the meeting, the professors responsible for the seven indicator systems carefully reported the progress of the preparation of supporting materials in each group, as well as the existing problems, and the work ideas of "focusing on construction". The 18bet review leaders of the Academic Affairs Office and the Department (Department) attended the meeting. Based on the outline of the indicator system - 40 observation points and 89 requirements, Vice President Yuan Decheng explained in detail the basic ideas of the writing of the school's self-evaluation report, how the department (Department) benchmarked and found gaps, and how teachers contributed to the promotion of evaluation and construction in combination with daily educational and 18bet review activities.
On the afternoon of March 30, President Chen Baodong attended the second part of the series of activities "Shen Ke Commented on Me and Make the Right" - "Where is My Contribution 4089?" The Vice President Yuan Decheng gave an academic report and all teachers participated online. The report understands the requirements of the qualification assessment index system and the ways to succeed in design evaluation and construction work from a teacher's perspective. Combined with the logical starting point of qualification assessment, it is an accountability mechanism for "standardization of education and teaching", expressing the eager expectations for teachers to learn the principles and foundations of pedagogy and develop systematic engineering thinking. It emphasizes how to design curriculum based on advanced educational and teaching concepts, that is, to put the three keywords of qualification assessment "morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor - comprehensive development, applied talents - application of what they have learned, and connotation-based development - quality assurance", which are reflected in the school's positioning and goals, and then further transferred to the training goals of each professional training program, and further undertaken and implemented by curriculum and classroom teaching. Following this achievement-oriented education (OBE) concept, it is not only a need to do a good job in qualification assessment, but also a need for teachers, especially young teachers to steadily improve their professional abilities, and the construction of professional construction, curriculum construction and quality assurance system construction and other work to move forward steadily. Finally, with the theme of "4089 Where is My Contribution?", all teachers are required to take the evaluation as an opportunity to resolve the main contradictions, make up for shortcomings, work together, actively carry out educational and teaching reform and innovative practices, and continuously improve teaching ability and teaching level, so that the majority of students can gain more, faster and better growth, and that the school can pass the qualification assessment smoothly.
